In 1966 Greenwich Village, Susy Hendrix, recently blinded in an accident, is terrorized by three con artists in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susy discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.

Microburst New Play Festival

The Secret Garden

The Boy at the Edge of Everything

The House of Desires

In a new, critically acclaimed adaptation, The House of Desires examines the agency of women in a time when they were subject to strict moral codes, in both religion and society.

The Tempest

Using flotsam and jetsam found on the shore after a storm, beachcombing storytellers piece together a mysterious story of wonder. Puppetry, music, and magic come into play as young people are invited to help tell the tale. Though adapted for elementary school–aged children, older audience members will recognize the mirth and shadows of Shakespeare’s masterful final play.

Blithe Spirit

When a cantankerous novelist seeking to gather material for his next book hosts a séance that backfires, he is soon tormented by the ghost of his late first wife. A supernatural sensation and smash comedy hit, this “improbable farce in three acts” is one of Noël Coward’s most revived plays.
